The Matchbox Theatre

The Matchbox Theatre is a well-established, highly-regarded amateur dramatic society largely made up of members of St Francis'.  The group was started in 1981.

We perform a wide variety of plays on the tiny stage in the church hall (hence the name) to an ever-increasing and appreciative audience - at Christmas, around Easter and in July. When rehearsing we meet on Sunday and Monday evenings (and occasionally Wednesday) at the hall.

The next production is 'Jumpy' by April De Angelis.  This will be performed on 30th November and 1st and 2nd December in St Francis Hall commencing at 7.30pm.

We are always looking for new members in all capacities - acting, set-building, props, costumes etc. If your interested in joining, please contact:

Annie Norris (Chairperson) or Vicky Pearce (Membership Secretary) 020 8777 1807.
