Concerts at St Francis

St Francis’ Church is a popular venue for concerts. There are occasional concerts organised by the Church and it is also used regularly by the Hayes Symphony Orchestra (details click here)   The next concert by the Hayes Symphony Orchestra on Saturday 23rd June 2018.  The programme includes: Borodin “Prince Igor Overture”; Reinecke  “Flute Concerto” (Soloist: Fiona Kelly) and Brahms  “Symphony No 1”

Organ Recital:  Travis Baker who was a past organist at St Francis is giving an organ recital on Saturday 28th April at 7.45pm. Tickets £10 - now available from John and Anita Curtis (Tel. 8777 5973) or at the door (under 16’s free).

Free Lunchtime Concerts:  In 2018 our season of free summertime lunch recitals held at St Francis' Church
extends from May unto September. As usual each monthly recital takes place on a Thursday between 12.45 pm and 1.30 pm on the following dates:
24 May:  William Fu (piano)
14 June:  Peter-Joe Bennett (guitar) and Yuko Yagishita (piano)
19 July:  Tamara Ravenhill (soprano) accompanied by Martin Sharpe (piano), Andrew Gallacher (piano)
9 August: Peter De Croos (organ)
20 September:  Students from Langley Park Boys' School
All are welcome. Please bring your own lunch; free tea and coffee will be available.
